Last year I had the honor and pleasure of being a guest military model for "Fashion Takes Flight," for Luke's Wings, and it was such a huge success that they're putting it on again this year! It was my inaugural post on G.I. Jess and my favorite event that I've modeling in.

Join us for Fashion Takes Flight, the kick off to the 2010 campaign and the beginning of our third anniversary celebration.
Attendees of the event will enjoy cocktails, gourmet hors d'eourves from some of the Washington area's best restaurants, as well as a luxury silent auction. Models and military service men and women ‘take flight’ in a swank, high energy runway exhibition highlighting cutting edge fashion from Washington’s best boutiques and collections by the District's premier designers. Our 2010 host is WUSA 9’s Angie Goff.

Dress code: Fashionable Cocktail Attire - Service Uniforms welcomed and encouraged. We will have a premium "Service Members Only" bar just for uniformed service members.

Additional Notes:
1. There will be a "Service Members Only" Premium Bar for active duty uniformed service members
2. The first 50 uniformed service members get in (general admission) for free
3. This is a exclusive limited event. We will not oversell or crowd the event
4. On-line ticket sales will end at 350 total ticket sales
5. There will be no tickets sold at the door
6. There will be no exceptions at the door - we do not crowd our events or create issues with the lines for bars, bathrooms, auctions, etc.
